Continuing with my research into visiting practises, I looked into another practise local to where I live. CEd look like a relatively small practise, with an impressive gender balance of almost 50/50. What most impressed me about their profile or 'mission' statement was their philosophy, particularly the following statement:
"It is important to us that we work in a way that is respectful and kind to everybody we encounter".
To me, being kind is an essential, but often overlooked value.
I was particularly interested to look at their project for Silver St, Midsomer Norton - A project close to where I live, with sustainability at the centre of the design, as well as community living and green spaces
