Design studio session 3...expression through cartridge paper.

The exercise was so immersive and exciting, I really enjoyed seeing the limitless variety of models created, all very individual. I found the lines, shadows and forms created, fascinating; but I also enjoyed the humour in some of the pieces too.

It felt quite liberating being able to create freely, but with a restricted palette of paper and just masking tape to secure pieces together. It has also made me look at where I could see those shapes, lines and angles being used within a landscape situation. It has opened the door to more imaginings!
