Project Brief 2: Narrative

When I first started looking for objects, as per the brief, I didn't have a narrative in mind. It was interesting that having collected a few fascinating (in my opinion!) pieces from hedgerows and around where I live, a story began to build. The objects I photographed had all been discarded and the large industrial bin was the ultimate receptacle. I found it quite a melancholy exercise. The objects for the studio installation had a similar background narrative, but through collecting the items I began to be captivated by the lines and definitions, some natural and some man-made, but in my eyes quite beautiful.
