I have decided to start looking up some of the practises attending the upcoming practise day. I will look at their website, mandate/ethos, their projects and how inclusive they appear. First up, AHR Architects:

So AHR appear to be first and foremost, an architectural and construction firm. They have multiple offices throughout the UK and most of their projects promoted on their website are focused on buildings. I looked into their Landscape department, interestingly, they do not categorise it as Landscape Architecture, but Landscape Design. All of the examples shown are of buildings with a small percentage of space shown around the buildings and very little green space. Their mandate seems people centric and creating spaces that people can connect with and enjoy being in. I looked through their director & management profiles: 65 people, 14 females, 62 white.
I guess, if I'm brave enough, I may ask them what their inclusivity and diversity policies are and also, what is their vision for Landscape Architecture..
