The River Runs Through it..

My latest sketchbook work for Castlemeads, looking at how the river is a sculpture and a sculptor. The layers of my design identify the sediment deposition, the movement of rocks along the river bed and how the river carries and deposits debris along its path. These natural processes exacerbated during flooding change landform, creating cliffs & beaches, mounds and fans of debris which are beautiful, exciting, providing nutrient rich habitat; I hope my design can successfully celebrate these processes...
