University of Glasgow & Green Spaces?

On a visit to the impressive University of Glasgow this weekend, I went to look at the latest phase of their £90.6million James McCune Smith Learning Hub Development. I started to wonder where the green spaces/trees/SUDs were going to be??? Just before COP26, the street below the University (Byers Road) flooded completely, the existing drainage couldn't cope with the large, sudden quantity of rainfall. I would imagine the rainwater from the University would run from the site into the drains of Byers Road. With such an extensive project and unbelievably expensive, detailed hard-landscaping, it's hard to believe there isn't going to be provision made for these extreme weather events?? I'm going to write to the Architects to find out....
